↓ Labouchere Betting System

The Labouchere betting system is also known as "Crossout", "Cancellation", "Labby" or "Split Martingale". It's an unusual pen-and-paper betting system that is unlike the common progressive betting systems even though it is a negative progressive system itself.

Labouchere system can be successfully used in Blackjack and is recommended over Martingale. However, Labouchere and card counting techniquesy might not be applicable for most online casino games because they rely on deck layout which is often evenly reshuffled in online casinos.

The Labouchere system is based on a sequence of numbers. You write down a certain series of numbers, for instance 1, 2, 3, 4, 4. The current bet is a sum of the first and the last number. In this example the first bet will be $5. If you win the hand, you add the current bet to the end of the sequence ($5 becomes $6 in the next game). When you lose, you remove the first and the last numbers from the sequence.

The Reverse Labouchere system is a positive progressive system based on Labouchere. You add the winning bet to the sequence and cross out two numbers when you lose.
